As a result, there will be much increased tourism into the area and to cope with the influx of people, the new roads and stadium will provide the ultimate experience for those attending the games.
The Moroccan government has formalised the funding agreement in a memorandum of understanding for the period from 2025 to 2032. The memorandum outlines the key projects to be completed.
These projects include the construction of the Rabat-Casablanca Continental highway and the Tit Mellil-Berrechid highway, as well as upgrades to the Ain Harrouda and Sidi Maarouf nodes.
Of particular focus are strategic road upgrades to improve access to the Grand Stade de Casablanca, a 115,000 capacity stadium that will become one of the largest in the world.
